Advance online

"Advance Online" publication accelerates the dissemination of scientific findings. Manuscripts are published immediately after peer review and acceptance, but prior to copyediting, typesetting, and proofreading. While fully citable via the Digital Object Identifier (DOI), the "Advance Online" manuscript is not the final version of record. Once the definitive version is published in a journal issue—complete with editing and pagination—it will supersede this version under the same DOI.
